Private Pilot Ground School

Immersive FAA written knowledge test preparation covering aerodynamics, weather, aircraft systems, navigation, regulations and emergency procedures.

  • FAA written exam endorsement
  • 4 hrs Redbird MCX simulator access
  • 1-hr CFI orientation (Cessna 172)

One-hour session with a qualified flight instructor covering simulator operation, cockpit familiarization, basic flight controls and standard procedures. Required before independent simulator scheduling.

Led by FAA-certified CFI/AGI instructors. Interactive workshops, scenario-based exercises, Redbird MCX simulator and ADM/risk management training. No prior experience required.

Flight Training Scholarship Program

Monroe Aviation will be offering a flight training scholarship for 11th and 12th-grade students who are interested in pursuing aviation. This opportunity is intended to help reduce the financial barrier to entry and support students as they begin their journey toward becoming a pilot. More details on how to apply, eligibility, and scholarship awards will be released soon.
